Hardin ng Postema

I was scouting for a venue for a reunion of family members since the earlier booked has become too small for the swelling number of excited attendees.  I first went to a beach resort I visited once before, checking their facilities, rooms, and rates. Villa Excellance Beach Resort in Tanza, Cavite, looked viable.  On my way out of the beach resort, I  decided to explore Hardin sa Postema, a resort I did not  then consider.  I liked what I saw.

Hardin ng Postema is beautiful and clean. The business model is simple – –  pay entrance fees per person and you can use any picnic table you want, use the bathroom and shower facilities, and any of the 5 swimming pools within the complex.  2 huge “landscaped” pools, 2 kiddie pools beside the big pools, and an Olympic-sized pool.

Update May 2017:
Since I mentioned  above, in my original blog, that Postema is clean, I need to include here an unedited comment from a reader sent just the other day:

“Went in this resort, last April 19 of this year. Our visit there is not very satisfying because of their poor facilities at that time. We notices that the place is not being maintained well. The management must ensure that water in the pool is being checked frequently for cleanliness, as this is a public pool, many people swam. And the shower rooms too, must be looked maybe after every 15 to 30 minutes as human poops and other wastes accumulate so fast in the area. With these experience, I highly recommend that you just look for other resort, where you can enjoy safely. I apologize for the negative comment. I hope the place will improve, to attract more visitors.”

My reply to this reader:
“Thank you for your comment. As a blogger who only shares experiences with places I go to, I encourage readers to post comments and updates about places so that travelers may be more informed. Just like you, I now hope that the management of Postema read this and improve the sanitation standards. There should be no excuse for a dirty place, no matter how busy the place is on any day.”

HOW TO GET THERE:

By private car: Take Coastal Road , onwards to the new tollway CAVITEX (P58 toll fee). Drive onwards to the direction of the Cavite Economoc Zone (when lost, ask for EPZA). Go past the intersection and this should bring you to Tanza. To your right will be several beach resorts. When you reach Barangay Sahud Ulan, turn right. Thsi corner is easy to spot, there are signages of both Villa Excellance and Hardin ng Postema.

By bus : Take any bus or mini bus to Tanza or Naic, from Baclaran or Zapote. When you get off at the corner with the Hardin ng Postema signages, it is an easy walk to the resort.

    • There are nearby beaches. Villa Excellance is nearby. But the beaches are not exactly clean as Tanza is still close to Manila and the pollution of Manila Bay gets to the waters of Tanza.

  2. Magkanu po ung Cottages .. ung malake ah .. at 7am to 12 eve poh ba 250 lahat ..

When you pay entrance fee (P100 per head daytime, P150 per head nighttime) kasama na ang gamit ng open cottages/tables and showers.

    • I am only a blogger and not in any way connected with Postema. However, I believe they will not allow that. Look for Val or Elna.

  4. Hi! Thank you for the infos. Anyway, we are from Manila and are planning to go to a beach in Tanza. But learning and going thru the reviews of the beaches is not good, we’d rather check-in at Postema then visit Villa Excellance to check the view within the day. Is Villa Exellance walking distance lng sa Postema? You think okay yung idea namen Sir?

    • Villa Excellance is farther away from Postema. Yes, you could walk altho it is not a 5-minute walk. The facilities at Postema are far better, and swimming in the pool is more enjoyable than on a somehow polluted beach. The degree of pollution is not palpable, and I must tell you that some people actually find it “clean’. And by the way, Villa Excellance also has a pool. Postema has 8 pools, but they do not of course make all pools available at any one time. Sometimes, it is just the big pool and the adjacent kiddie pool that is open. Check them out so you won’t say you missed out on a chance to enjoy the beach. Sometimes, people just want to be on the beach, ihaw-ihaw, and soaking in the sea breeze.

      • Thank you! Yes, we actually wanted to enjoy the beach and it’s view, and have at least a clean and suitable place to stay after. And i’d rather stay in Postema, then have a walk in Villa Ex. Another question, i haven’t seen pictures of restos or place to eat near Postema and Villa, should we bring our food instead? Wala bang kainan doon?

      • There ia a restaurNt within Postema, before the entrance gates. You can even order and they will deliver to your room. But the servings are small kaya medyo mahal lumalabas. I suggest u bring rice and rice cooker and food na maiihaw plus pre cooked food like adobo etc. marami ihawan at postema.

    • Yes, the open cottages/tables are free day and night. Usually overnighters leave before 8am, as was my experience when I was there. When i woke up, ubos na mga tao. If you want to stay longre, they will charge you P100 for the daytinme fee. best to call them to clarify (the numbers are in my blog).

      • kung gagamitin po ba namin ung free cottages ay free din ba ung electrical f magluluto kami ng mga foods like meats and rice?
malayo kasi ung villa excellance hirap mag malakad maalikabok pa

  5. GOODMORNING PO . SAME PA RIN PO BA ANG RATES NG MGA ROOMS AT ENTRANCE SA NAKA LAGAY NA INFO ? PLAN PO KASI NAMIN MAG OVERNIGHT THIS MARCH23 PO (SUNDAY)

    • Meron nearby. But Hardin ng Postema is a resort with many swimming pools you will not want to swin on the beach. But if you really want to, Villa Excellance is a few steps away.

    • Please call them to find out. The number to call is at the end of my blog article on this resort. I am not connected with Postema in any way, I am just a blogger and I write about places I visit.

    • I can not really say because I have not returned to this beautiful resort lately. I am a blogger and I only write about my experiences about places I visit so they may be a reference for travelers. i am not connected in any way with the places I write about. For any information and updates, please call them. Their contact details are at the end of my write up about this place. Thank you for reading. Enjoy your travels !

    • I am a blogger and I am not connected in any way with Postema. I shared the information based on what they told me. I remember them saying pwede yata kahit 8, but you might find it uncomfortable. In fact, even for 6, the room will be crowded in terms of sleeping space. There is only one bed and a pull-out. Siksikan.

But I know there are buses if not mini buses from Zapote to TANZA. Ask to be dropped at Hardin ng POSTEMA. Sikat yun and all drivers and conductors na byaheng Tanza will know that. If there is no direct trip when you are in Tanza, get a ride to SALINAS?ROSARIO. Surely there will be mini buses or jeepneys to Tanza from there.

Thanks for this blog, nalaman ko na tuloy san kami dapat mag swim. 🙂
    Yun lang! Peace0ut! 🙂

  9. I have called them just today based on the contact details you have provided. Thanks to your page, I was able to contact them nang walang kahirap-hirap. 🙂

  10. Goodmorning sir/ madam can I inquire in your resort about wedding reception and ceremony can you tell me the whole details and how much I will pay for that and also the requirements so that the wedding will held there.

    • I am a blogger and I don’t own the resort. I am not connected in any way with Hardin ng Postema. I went there, liked the place, and thought I’d share the experience so that fellow travelers can also enjoy the place. I listed down the contact details at the bottom of my article. If that is not updated, I am sure you will find the details if you google.

  11. How was the feeling after you went there 4 years ago?, after ng marami mong na explore na lugar, kasama ba ang “Hardin ng Postema” sa mga gusto mong balikan or not? Why?. Sorry just curious.

    • We were just looking for a party venue, and it was good for that. However, it does not compare, and will in fact be unfair to compare versus the natural wonders of the other places I have visited. As a resort near Metro Manila, it is definitely a good choice though.

I’ve been there before, maganda at malinis pa…excited nga ako sa overnight stay naming Jan on May 16 2015.. Thanks blogger for this information…. I will also call them regarding the room rates..if after 6am eh mag bbayad pa kami for extension..

    • When I went there, I did not see any room big enough for 20 or 25. In that case I think you will need to get 4 rooms. By the way, I am a blogger and not in any way connected with Postema.

    • By “cottage” if you mean rooms, they are not free of charge. Free and kasama na sa entrance fee yung use of tables all around, except designated spots for the exclusive use of those who have rooms. TYou won’t be charged for food that you bring, but there is corkage for beer and hard drinks.

  13. Hi…Good afternoon…wala bang discount pag marami or grupo ung pupunta sa resort nio?and also magkano ung Videoke rentals?thank u…need your immediate feedback!

    • I am a blogger and not in any way connected with Hardin ng Postema. I only went there and shared my experience, shared details etc , as I do with all the destinations I go to, to help fellow travelers and lakwatseros plan their trips. Please inquire from the resort directly on your concerns.

  14. Hi.. pwede poh bang maging venue ung hardin ng postema for venue ng wedding? or meron poh bang silang propasal for wedding package?? can I have a contact number please. Thanks 🙂

    • If you read my blog, you will realize I AM NOT THE OWNER of the resort. And I am NOT CONNECTED IN ANY WAY with this establishment. Please get in touch with them. I am just a blogger sharing my travel experiences.

  15. Thanks for this wonderful info…. We’ve been in tubigan resort and watercamp so this one would definetely will be the next…sir can you suggests other resorts in cavite or beach w/ pool?

    • I have never been to Paradizoo, the zoo resort in Alfonso, Cavite. It is not in Tagaytay (Metro Tagaytay, maybe). There is confusion with the way they tag Paradizoo as Tagaytay, even if they are technically NOT in Tagaytay.

They are, therefore, confusing visitors who sometimes go to Paradiso, a place in Tagaytay. Paradiso is a private vacation house accessible to friends.
